Lately, I have been using a lot of bleach to try and salvage much of this guy's wardrobe. Well, in the process, I managed to spill a little on Dad's favorite dress shirt. As I apologized to him, a light bulb went off in my head. I realized that I could turn Dad's favorite shirt into a new summer scally cap for little Marcus. Although Dad didn't seem too impressed, I was excited to have a new project. You see, even though I am a hat maker, Marcus only had one cap that was just for him. Lately, there are two reasons why it is so important for Marcus to wear a cap. The first is because he recently bumped his head. It is important that his scar is always covered with sunscreen and a hat. The second is that he is my number one hat model. When we are out and about, we receive a lot of compliments on his little hat. Every now and then, I will explain that I make them and how this particular cap came to be. As for Dad, I think he has forgiven me for ruining his favorite shirt.
